I have to drive to the airport tomorrow and my car is not driveable... I have to fix this problem by tonight....

I was chaning my rear brake pads and the passenger side went smooth with no problem. I come to my driver's side and I get my pads in there and start rotating the caliper piston clockwise to push it in... I mustve turned it about 100 times but it wont even budge... I tried counterclockwise to see if the piston would come out... sure enough it did. After that, I tried to push it back in by rotating it clockwise but like before the piston won't even move..... I cant even put my old brake pads on now... I made sure my master cylinder was open the whole time.

I do not see any leaks around the piston and the brakes worked fine before this mess...

I need to fix this car by tonight so I can drive to the airport tomorrow morning. Please, I would appreciate any suggestions.

thanx

I fixed it. I had to really push it.. i mean VERY HARD.. man the weird thing is... passengers side piston went right in with no push what so ever. But drivers side.. I have the biggest back pain because I had to push so hard.

But I have another problem now tho... One of the pin bolt (bottom one) is pushed in and its stuck there and will not move.... and its not letting me have enough clearance for the new pads... I endedup doing one old and one new pad to make it fit.

How can I get that bolt to loosen or do I need a new caliper assembly?
