S14 Rear & Blinker Lights Not Working

I have this project car here (95 S14 SE) and I'm having issues with figuring out why my rear running lights and side indicators don't work. The chassis harness that it came with has had cut wires- it runs, drives, but the lights.. I bought another chassis harness, plugged it in tightened it up, plugged in the rear lights part, tested it out and it wouldn't start, now this could be from the previous harness that seemed to drain my battery, because I also noticed that the new harness I bought off eBay still kept the little juice it had left in the battery after weeks of sitting. Anyway, the rear lights and blinkers still don't work. What gives? I looked at all the fuses at the foot well and none of them appear to be blown? What powers these lights? Is there something underneath the dash that isn't plugged in? Could there a ground that's not connected? Or something more deep from wires being cut prior. I also noticed that the new harness doesn' have any connection to those two small things under the left rear quarter window. There's no harness tgat runs along the floor on the passnger side either if there was one at all. I'm a noob with wiring stuff sorry guys- All possible scenarios! Thanks
