Hey guys...

My RB26 is about to arrive from japan..i've just wanted to set things straight before i begin...

what exctlly do i need for the swap?

wiring is irrelivent (i'm using a Haltech ECM)i have a greddy f/mgreddy exaust (of course i'll need a new downpipe)the mckinney mount kitrb25 oil pani have an r33 gauge cluster (will it fit to the dash?)and an rb25 trany...

anything else i need to consider?

BTWit's an r32 engine, what pn is the collar for the crank (the oil problem)?

drive eccentric only engages half the pump gear so under a load it shifts forward, rounds off the edges on the crank and shatters the oil pump drive gears. R33 crank has a more substantial eccentric than the R32, that's the difference.

so you meen that i need to replace the entire crackshaft?

crackshaft? I know it's a typo but it's funny as hel. You need to pull the oil pump to check the condition of the crank, it will show wear on the edges of the drive eccentric like a bolthead damaged by a slipped wrench if it has been overstressed.
