Hey, I did my swap in my S14 and the fork is pushed all the way forward meaning.....that the slave cylinder is pushed all the way in with no slack. So when I put it into gear and release the clutch, it moves very very little like its hardly grabbing the clutch. Most of the time the car doesn't move not 1 inch.

Like I don't know if its the pull type clutch or if its the wrong throw out bearing or sleeve. Im using the stock RB26 clutch and a RB20 sleeve with a Non turbo 300ZX throw out bearing. I have a push type RB25 transmission. If you guys can help I'd appreciate it.

its adjusted wrong.

when you are released off the pedal its still putting pressure on the clutch plate.

Ok but I already adjusted the pedal in different ways but still the same thing. I know its on the pressure plate still when you release the clutch but I don't know why its doing that.

because you are blindly adjusting it, it sounds like.

adjust the pedal till you have approx .25 inches of free play.

If it was not bleed properly, he wouldn't be able to DISengage it. He is having exactly the opposite problem.

Yea its weird. No one can't figure it out. The car barely moves or doesn't move at all.

What about when you adjust it all the way to the floor aka really loose pedal?

Another way of testing is open the bleeder to relieve excess pressure if the slave isn't bottomed out yet and see if the arm moves back some more to engage the clutch. If not, it would seem you are using the wrong combination of clutch parts.

Yea I adjust it to where it was loose but nothing happened either. I'm thinking 3 possible things wrong: Wrong pressure plate, to big of a throw out bearing or to big of a throw out bearing sleeve.

there are many different length T.O. sleeves sounds like yours is to long. That will not allow for any free play in the clutch linkage...Measure it and order a shorter one.

Is the RB20 Sleeve longer than the RB25 or RB26? What sleeve is shorter that I can use? I did so much research on this and I don't see anyone with this problem.
