Ok but I already adjusted the pedal in different ways but still the same thing. I know its on the pressure plate still when you release the clutch but I don't know why its doing that.Joe wrote:its adjusted wrong.
when you are released off the pedal its still putting pressure on the clutch plate.
I did. I adjusted it all the way to the top but still the same.Joe wrote:because you are blindly adjusting it, it sounds like.
adjust the pedal till you have approx .25 inches of free play.
Yes alot of times.jrhdohc wrote:did you bleed the system?
If it was not bleed properly, he wouldn't be able to DISengage it. He is having exactly the opposite problem.jrhdohc wrote:did you bleed the system?

What about when you adjust it all the way to the floor aka really loose pedal?supra1rd wrote:

Yea I adjust it to where it was loose but nothing happened either. I'm thinking 3 possible things wrong: Wrong pressure plate, to big of a throw out bearing or to big of a throw out bearing sleeve.ItzGenX wrote:

Another way of testing is open the bleeder to relieve excess pressure if the slave isn't bottomed out yet and see if the arm moves back some more to engage the clutch. If not, it would seem you are using the wrong combination of clutch parts.
