ya bro the wire is grounded .i canged the cas and the injector are clicking so i think it workingwhat should i do nextDarius wrote:This is a dumb question but is the wire grounded to the bolt on the last cool pack bracket? If coils still don't fire, check that the cas circuit and hardware.
ya i looked for spark like million times still no spark what wires should i check for continuityrb25det250sx wrote:are you sure its not getting spark? did you check? Check the wires for continuity.
Sorry I meant power to the coils.Darius wrote:Do you have power to the ignitor?
1.there is continuity if i check between 7 plug on ignitor to ground on black wire pin 4 .. 2. well i tired 2 harness same s*** 3. we checked my ecu on my buddys car n it sparks 4 i checked it is groundedDarius wrote:

So you have power to the coils via the thick white wire, the coils are adequately grounded by the black wire at the rear of the head, but no sparks are coming from your plugs, correct?
There are only 4 options then:
1) There is no continuity between the 6 coil signal wires between the coils and ECU. I find it hard to believe that all 6 would be discontinuous.2) The power wire is shorting out to the ground wire in the coil pack harness. (This b**** of a problem left me stranded and scratching my head for a few hours)3) The ECU coil drivers are burnt up. Open up the ECU and look for burnt areas. 4) There's always the chance that the ignitor is not grounded properly (or is bad). If I remember right, the ground is the B/Y wire that runs to the bolts on the front of the intake manifold.
please help me510_rb25det wrote:i got spark every time i unplug the injector harness n crank i hear it wanna start . i hear lil pops. if i plug the harness then i dont hear s*** . feel like no spark then .. idk y i fell either injector are not turning at the right time
I had that same thing happen to me too. That's why I asked him if he had power from the white wire to his coils. If that has 12V, then you know the IGN relay switched with the turn of the key.stevespeed wrote:did also check your relay's that you are using near the ECU?
I also had a similar problem once and it was a ground for my something that I had wired SUPER close to the ECU.
Thanks bro it was a alot of lil stuff . big thing was cas . i had 2 bad cas maf , plugs car run good now i m kinda happy with itDarius wrote:

If the coils have power and ground, they should be working especially if his coil harness and ECU works on another car. I'm beginning to doubt that it is simply spark related and possibly fuel or CAS related.
