Ok, i have seen nobody touch on this at all. only the s13 wiring.

as my clip is finally in the mail the only concern i have is wiring. im not willing to get assraped for 500$ to have the wiring done if its on the same level as the s13 rb25 wiring.

I have a 97 240, and a facroty service manual for it with all wiring diagrams. if someone tells me WHAT needs to be wired together thats all i need.

please, someone has to share this info.

edit: OH i also need to know how to disable the park sensor.

its seriouly worth it to have Mckinney do it for you.. they got my harness back to me in 4 werking days..we plugged it in and it fired up and purrred like a lion!

500$ is not worth it to me.

a good friend of mine DID the s13 wiring (opensource) and there is no way im paying that much money for 8 wires.

i would pay 200 maybe 300 but not no damn 500$

besides i need to keep my s14 harness in tact because i may have to swap back to stock for emissions in a year.

yea.. the orginal plan was to use the r33 clutser.. and wire the 2 together.. then i decided i didnt wanna hack up my dash to fit it in.. cuz it would just never look right in there..

they change the whole dash clip to make the r33 motor harness plug into your 240 dash.. then extend the wires that are needed to extrend.. in the long run.. i wanted to get it done as fast as i could get and know that i would have no problems.. cause if you do it your self and somethings wrong.. theres gonna be a lot of **** to check..

I spent 3000 on the clip.. i figure its no big deal to spend the extra 350 to make sure its done right and fast..

here is another thingi WANT to use the r33 clusterthe 97-98 clusters are ugly as sin. and im gonna make use of the stock oil pressure and boost gauge.

it fits my 97 without any major problems, just need to make adapter braket so its really solid.

i hope i figure it out too

from what ive learned so far the EFI harness dosent need to be touched (except extending some wires) and everything/anything i DO have to wire will be for the subharness that controls alternator, starter etc

just letting you guys know, Mckinney Motorsports quoted me 400 for the wiring service for the RB25 in a '95 240. sounds tempting. i would say do it if you can afford it, but i think i'm with kamin on this. going to just cross my fingers and hope for the best.

also if anyone has any info (ie wiring diagrams) thatd be great. right now just using the info off the sticky and this ecu pin out:

Just cross reference the S14 chassis harness (F3 plug) with the skylines chassis harness. Get the wiring from the 8 step start-up sticky.

not that simple hotwired, s13 and s14 harness' are diffrent, i personally know the person who wrote that "8 steps to start" and he has no idea what needs to be done on a s14

im starting to think about just sending out to have it done...would save so many time and headaches..

ahhh man, you gonna leave me hanging?:(

lol just playing. actually, how about a group buy wiring service?:D

its probably because this summer break is making me feel so lazy. but as soon as i get the 2 harness together and take a look at them, ill see if i want to attempt or just send it in

I didn't know it was a S13. The thread said for S14 wiring. Don't know about the S13 wiring but the S14 wiring was really easy with the FSM.

I think cyris3d had made the right choice for paying $350 for wiring done from mack. Right now i got the engine and everything in the bay, but i'm stuck on the wiring. I'm thinking of having mack doing my wiring. I'm gonna email him back.
