Ok guys,
I'm in the middle of an RB25 swap into a 95 S14, and at the moment, I am frustrated and confused lol. I've been looking at every single wiring diagram and swap article I can find, and nothing is lining up.

1) I have a ton of connectors that I can't identify, and none of the wiring diagram colors are agreeing with the actual harness.

2) I have a sneaking suspicion that a part of the fuse/relay block in the engine bay is missing. There is a huge empty space where the large fuses are supposed to be (alt, etc).

3) The wiring for the internal connector (f3?) doesn't agree with the wiring diagrams I have found.

4) Is the transmission harness separate from the lower engine harness on the RB? I have no connectors that match the sensors on the trans.

Is there a definitive guide somewhere on this swap like there is for the S13?

My phone is being retarded, i'll post pics when I make it back home.

1) Post up some pics and we might can help you ID them
2) Once again, pics are key here
3) Which diagrams do you have and are you sure that they are the correct ones?
4) The transmission harness is integrated into the lower harness on all of the RB swaps I have done, Take pics of the connectors and if possible, the connectors on your trans.

Sorry about the lack of pics, I couldn't link them from my phone for some reason. Here they are:

And the diagrams/instructions I have looked at:

I have not been successful in finding a schematic of the S14 harness.

you should invest in a service manual...or search nico for the online ones hosted here.

I pulled down the FSM from here for the S14. Carl, can you verify for me that part of the fuse block is missing in the above picture? I do not have a 100A battery fuse, or any 75A fuses.

it really depends on the trimlevel car you have. i see the alternator fuse in the picture but if you have a super base model car then you wont have much in the engine bay fuse box.

I guess I just need to find someone with a similar car and look at it. I've never been under the hood of a 240 in this level of detail, so I really don't know what I'm missing and what I'm not. There are two large single pin connectors at the top of the harness ; one looks to go directly to the IGN fuse, and the other I'm not sure about - I think it's the charge line from the ALT maybe? At any rate, I don't have any single pin connectors that match up to them either.

I have a friend that has a RB25 swapped '95 that he's going to let me poke around in to see what's going on. I think that'll help me out here more than anything else, although I would still like to know the identity of the connectors above.

My buddy confirmed that in '95, the S14 did not have the front row of fuses that I see missing. His car doesn't have them either. I'm making progress, slowly but surely. I now have the MS2 powering on when the key is turned on, and I have power to the coils. Not checked injectors yet. Then it's figuring out the dash...

I have managed to get power to the coils, injectors, ecu, interior lighting, and fuel pump now. Put the MS2 in output test mode, and injectors, pump, and coils are firing properly.
Gonna check the CAS tomorrow, and put my multimeter on a headlight socket (no exterior lights right now).

Still haven't got the trans figured out ; all of the plugs on the trans are 2 pin plugs, and I have no 2 pin plugs in the lower harness.

No help on the plugs?

Guess I'll have to back probe everything and figure out where it goes. I have power to the coils, injectors, CAS, and fuel pump, so if I were so inclined, I could start the engine. But I don't believe I have anything working dash-wise yet.

I've got power to everything that I would need to start the car ; the test mode fires everything properly. The trans is still a mystery ; it looks like I'm just going to have to cut all of the plugs off and put new ones on, since NOTHING matches up at all. I got all of the pins underneath the S14's relay/fuse block figured out thanks to the S14 FSM, so I know where everything goes.
