I'm running HID's in my zenki and love the extra light output. I didn't do a projector retrofit, no time right now. Everything looks fine and runs great, my light output is wonderful with stock plastic covers. I can actually see at night now...

Just make sure either way you go you aim the correctly as to not blind oncoming traffic, if you blind a cop coming at you he/she is not going to be happy.

i also run hid's in my zenki. great light output and not blinding. but some retrofit projectors would be nice too.

if your looking to retrofit some in there, any car with oem hid projectors will work if you know how to fabricate. none are going to be a bolt in affair

Yes, I want to know the reasoning behind that also... Are they a good fit or the size is good for the zenki? I may retrofit mine at some point also. Not a plan, but you never know.

Patience. He means patience. No one is gonna sue you for copyright infringement for retrofitting your lights...

I think TSX headlights are probably best. Thats what most ppl use. But I've seen QX4 projector retrofits too. That was interesting.

Just don't forget to fab up a shroud and put on clear replacement lenses for the best look.

Yeah, we're right next door to each other. Hell, I work in Irving. My gf stays in Irving. I'm in Irving all the damned time.

Yeah, Motoman called dibs on the job first, so that seems fair. You know, at one point, I was gonna retrofit dual J30 projectors into my Zenki lights. Their output is ok, but inferior to TSX or S2k projectors for sure. But it seemed like it would be less work to trim a J30 headlight shroud to fit into a Zenki housing than it is to make a whole new shroud from scratch...

I'm only in Irving like during Thursday or Saturday. I want nice vision to see the roads I'm tired of crappy normal white lights. J30 is gay looking. :inoutgay:
