Sorry for posting about an issue that's been covered a million times, but I just wanted to make sure that I'm testing the correct connector. I've not been able to actually get the motor / regulator assembly out of the door to test it properly.

Drive side power window is dead. The amp clicks when the switch is pressed, but nothing from the motor. I thought that the amp might be the problem 'cause I've taken the amp out before, checked for blown connections, put it back together, and had it work for a week, but now, no go. I've tested the harness and connectors, and I'm getting continuity / ground / power where I need it.

The FSM and other posts on this forum say to connect the battery straight to the motor itself and see if you get anything. Since I can't get the motor out, can anyone confirm that this is the right connector to connect to the battery?

When I connect it to the battery the connection sparks a little, so I know that there's power flowing, but I get nothing from the motor. It's a 2-wire connector, with one green and one purple wire.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

i'm going through the same exact thing right now, and yes, that is the right connector. i just bought a motor only to find out that the one that was in there was good. i'm thinking it just might be the amp because i tested all the wires and they all seem good. it's funny because every part store i call has never heard of a power window amp.
