s14 pop charger?

Hey I'm trying to get some information and advice on some intakes. I saw a picture a couple weeks ago from one of Nicos members(I forgot who it was). On their 240 they had the turbo inlet pipe thing off of an SR (it looked like) on their N/A KA. The filter end of the pipe was where the battery used to be so it was really short. I liked that setup cause i would imagine a shorter pipe would equal quicker response from the engine. I don't want to get the short ram intakes that everyone else has, I want to do something different. I like the pop chargers or the REALLY short intakes that are found on g35's and 350z's, but I want it for a s14. Has anybody had any experience with this? Thanks in advance.
