Well about a month ago my KA24 S14 overheated, I noticed it before it got real bad, shut it off babied it home and changed the thermostat (lower hose was cold)

well two weeks later car over heats again, again lower hose is cold... so I check everything, water pump and stuff and it ends up being the kragen thermostat again ( tested it in boiling water)

now two weeks later, car is over heating again, lower hose is cold, so I bought a Nissan thermostat, and a buncha stuff

so here are my issues

-car over heats, lower radiator hose is cold-no noticeable leaks in system-water pump works atleast somewhat and doesnt make any noise (when I disconnect the upper hose, water pumps out while the car is running-car worked fine for two weeks and is over heating again, wierd- I blead air out of the system by running the car with the rad cap off and letting the bubbles come out

any more suggestions? its kind of confusing me, today I'm going to check the thermostat again, replace it, rebleed the system and change the radiator cap with a 300zx one

and other info car is a '95 240sx with 192k miles :ylsuper: and to the best of my knowledge HG is fine, oil is good, no smoke, and I did not run the car HOT for any amount of time, I spotterd the overheating quickly to prevent further damage.

the intake manifold near the head, it has a bleed plug, pull it out, then fill it untill it overflows, plug it back, top off the radiator, and your set

if that doesnt work, well go from there

If it overheats again and your sure there is no air in the system you may want to have your radiator flow checked. may have a restriction in the fins.
