S14 open diff pumpkin into S13 questions.

I have looked around and seems like it is possible by just changing out the rear covers (4bolt vs 2bolt) but is that all?

Reason being I run open diff in my s13 but I bought a welded open diff off a s14 and is still inside pumpkin.

I know the internals are gonna be the same, but is this swap gonna be straight up, just changing diff covers?

seems like I need bushings. well im just gonna do it the longer way and switch out the internals

you should just sell the s14 welded and look for one in an s13 pumpkin. they're everywhere

Its SO easy to swap the guts from a pumpkin, just do it.

yea its gonna be done tomorrow. Just got one last question. Do I need a diff gasket or is it just silicon.
