I've tried searching but can't find an answer. I know red tops black tops pre-notchback.. are basicly the same. I think this is kind of a dumb question but as far as swaping into an obdll wiring wise which will be the least headache?? or does it even matter....

.... If im not mistaken all jdm cars are obd1 i think so its a matter of the bout 2-300$ price diff. and the cooling fins??

please someone clarify this for me Thanks

s14 sr20s have two different wiring schemes--- the s14 zenki and the s14a kouki which is similar to the s15 sr20 wiring -- each will use a different part number apexi power fc

If you are asking which motor will be the easiest to swap in, i would have to say its about even, with exception of the S15 motor because of its transmission and speed sensor issue.

The s13 and s14 sr motors have plenty of support and plenty of help with the wiring. The only little thing with s14's is rewiring the F4 plug which anyone with common sense can work out.

or you send your wiring out like i did and cut out the b.s i have a zenki notch back and wiring specialties is doing my harness he even does the lower one for the transmission set up so no guess work 304.00 with 2 days shipping back to me 259.00 base price and replaces all broken plugs needed just a 5 week turn around kinda sucks but that tells you the kind of work he does .jm2c
