ok, ok. s15 front is cool but be prepared to either spend a lot of time or money or both, because there is no perfect conversion kit. engine wise is really personal preference, money, and experience

imo look at scotty240 car see his front end make it like that if it's not. yo scott love your front bro. if your still in 4x4 mode fix that how ever you choose then worry bout the motor. since your only working with 3-4 grand buy quality parts for a ka-t bro.

learn to care about suspension and brakes...both are fairly important

but, in all seriousness, what is the purpose of this car? that alone should dictate every decision you make.

Why don't you just spend the money on your G35 or 350Z?

Dude, I'm a bit confused and even though you admit not having the best language skills, please explain these different posts of yours:

I've read all of your posts, so let's get this straight. What do you have? Do you have a 1990 240SX? A 1995 240SX? A 2007 350Z Nismo? ... Are you trying to sell the 1990 240SX for $2500? Are you trying to modify the 1990 240SX? Are you converting one of these into a RHD S15 clone of some sort? You say money is not an option, yet state you only have 3 -OR- 4 grand? There's a 1G difference there ... what DO you have? Let's get all this straight BEFORE moving on to whatever you think you want to do.

My shortened so-called advice: I know nothing of drifting other than the slideways I get between shifts at the track, and the occasional really cool controlled 'fishtail'. :gapteeth: But, one would figure that if you plan on drifting as you say, you might want to reconsider your "suspension I don't care" statement. Of all the things you listed, this should probably be your second focus; first being that of learning to drift. Paint? Who cares ... really! ... if you plan on drifting, plan on dings, dents, chips ... maybe a wreck or two ... AND PLEASE DO THAT AT A TRACK. If you have the KA24DE, keep it and modify it according to your budget post setting up your suspension/brakes/tires. Forget the S15 front; again waste of your $$$ ... unless the "looking good" is more important than drifting.

Okay, so now back to your inquiry. You basically want a weekend drifter, but be able to drive it daily. So obviously, money is better spent on suspension at this point. Again, again, again ... forget the dern S15 conversion! Now let's get the drifters in here to set up this guys suspension and brakes!

You can tell from the way he types his sentences English isn't his first language. Go easy on him guys

An theres nothin wrong with the stock KA. Don't try to make the car as un stock as possible. People at nico generally go for oem stuff. IMO the only reason you should swap your engine is if the stock one broke or if your motor sport requires more power then the stock one can generate. A stock KA should drift just fine.

^ yes

so, again I say suspension and brakes should be your focus. learn to drift and get comfortable with the car with the stock KA while developing the suspension, etc.

More than just Cubans down here. I lived in Miami for many years; raised just to the north about 30 miles. Miami is known for it's Hispanic culture, but outside of Cubans there are also Puerto Ricans, Peruvians, Columbians, Haitians, Jamaicans, Canadians ... New Yorkers ... and English speaking Americans too ... a regular southern melting-pot. I wouldn't just assume because somebody is from Miami that they are Cuban; but chances are pretty good!

So you want to drift. K.

#1 most important IMO is diff. and open diff and even a stock VLSD suck. You could...
-Spend alot on a really nice 1.5 or 2 way LSD.
-Spend less money and Get a VLSD and have it shimmed.
-Spend the least money and weld an open diff.

Dont ask which is best. They all have ups and downs. Do a little searching and there are TONS of writeups about peoples opinions on each of these.

#2 is suspension. You are going to want to get a nice coilover setup and if I were you, suspenion links as well.
-Brand once again comes down to you. Do some searching. They all have ups and downs.
-I would get Stance, but thats me.
-Getting suspension links are great for 2 reasons.
-if you crash they are less likely to bend or brake
-You can get a good alignment

^This is where you should start. After this there are limitless places to go. There are more things you can do and get with your suspension. Alot of people get wheels to pull off the sexy look. There are plenty of power options. Then there are bodykits which I dont recomend if your on a budget, plus if your learning its just a something your going to brake so I wouldnt waste your money just yet. Then interior stuff. All up to you.

If I were you I would...
-1st replace anything that needs fixing.
-2nd welded diff (once again, my opinion)
-3rd Stance coilovers with Stance suspenion links
-4th Get wheels so i look better.
-5th Get raceing seats. (this isnt the same option most people would do, but for drifting I like bucket seats because I hate opening my legs like a 2 dollar hooker to pin me between the door and the center collum so i dont slide around in my seat.)

Hope this helps.

Can you send me some Guava and Cheese Pastries with some of that money?

It sounds like you need to do a lot of research before you start blowing money on your car. You're flushing it down the #2 pipe if you don't do your own research. Sit down and think about what you definately want for this car and what you think you want. Go and do research and then start listing them in order of importance. You really don't want to do exterior stuff before you do interior, engine, and suspension work because the exterior can easily be damaged by doing the other things after the exterior. If you want to get sideways without flipping your car, then I strongly suggest you start looking hard at some suspension mods.

This is just to give you an idea of what your up against and I do not swear by these or endorse them. It is only a list of things I have done to my S14 Kouki to possibly help you get started.
I have:
~Suspension~
VLSD
KTS Coilovers
Nismo Power Brace
Whiteline front and rear sway bars
SPL tension rods
SPL inner and outer tie rods
New steering rack w/ Nismo bushings
High pressure SS power steering line
Nismo front and rear strut tower braces
Z32 brakes all around with Hawk pads, Project MU e-brake shoes, R32 E-Brake cables, Z32 BMC (brake master cylinder), Agency Power brake lines, slotted and drilled performance rotors, ATE Brake Fluid
SPL Brake wind deflectors
(I still need to get rear upper, rear toe, and rear traction rods)

~Performance~
Injen air intake
BRM 2.5" exhaust w/ high flow cat, Nismo hangers
Megan Header and downpipe
Nismo clutch, Nismo pressure plate, Nismo pivot fork, Nismo slave cylinder, Agency Power SS full length clutch line
DSS Aluminum Driveshaft
NGK Iridium spark plugs
NGK spark plug wires
Interstate Battery
GReddy Radiator
Z32 fuel filter
EGR delete
5w-30 Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil, Nissan oil filter
Redline 75w-90 Synthetic transmission fluid

~Interior~
Replaced all old or worn parts with new OEM parts

~Exterior~
Full Viper Red Re-paint
JDM K's Aero body parts, front bumper, lip, rear bumper, rear valances, JDM spoiler, JDM badges
D-Max clear corners
D-Max clear front JDM markers
Aftermarket double projector headlights w/ angel eyes
JDM fog lights
6k HID's all around
LED lights for exterior lighting all around
350Z 18" Anniversary Wheels

How much did you want to spend? lol

My Kouki now looks different than the old photo in my signature below.

OP.
stock ka's have plenty of torque to be able to drift on occasion.
don't worry so much about the motor if you're looking for a DD/weekend warrior.

make sure your ka runs properly,
work on suspension and brakes.

since your budget is tight,
i suggest you try to make the best out of your ka.

they are not as bad as you're making them out to be.
plenty of people can drift great with a ka,
hell, i have fun with my single slammer :mike

if you want more power with little cost,
save up and only spend on maintenance.
go ka-t.
you will produce a little more power than an sr while spending a lot less.
and if you are keeping up on miantenance with your motor and everything is ok,
you will have a reliable 230ish hp DD on your hands.

BE PATIENT!
spend your dollars on necessities.

my .02

Thanks guys I really appreciated everything and let me know that I was been a child with the exterior stuff
Now I really know what I have to do research and figure it out what I want with this car
It was all the photos and videos that make me stupid and think about a lot of s***
I'm studying Mechanical Engineering so I will be in touch if any problems happen
Cause I see you guys really know what you're talking about
Thanks
