S14 model classifications

I have tried to search for this, but no definite answers. Also the FAQs I see have more info on the S13s than the S14s. Basically, I wanted to know where I fit in. I've got a 1995 240sx with VLSD, ABS, 5spd, Sunroof, 4 lug hubs, black guages, no factory foglights, and I haven't checked for my rear sway bar. From what I've seen, there's a base model, LE, and SE. I know the SEs have the white guages, 5lug, and VLSD w/ ABS. Can anyone answer this for me or point me in the right directions? Thanks.

Oh yeah, I did have the Clarion 6 speaker setup with the factory amplifiers also.

How do you know you have VLSD? Has your been previously modified before you aquired it? Did it come with factory Nissan hubcaps? Are your gauges in mph or km/h?

Heh...I know I have the VLSD by the two lines of rubber I leave, plus when I took off the LR wheel, I saw the orange sticker that said it was. I bought the car with the Enkeis on it and they're 15". And my gauges are in mph....I am pretty sure it hasn't been modified engine/drivetrain/suspension wise...except for the wheels and muffler....I put a front STB on it though...I gotta check the rear sway bay deal to see if its there, cuz I'd like to upgrade it to the STs..

that's weird... it can't be an SE without the 5lug wheels, fogs, white gagues, and spoilers right? But I also thought that ABS/vLSD were only available on the SE trim? Hmm, I am thinking you have a non-SE though, maybe ABS/vLSD was offered on std coupes as well or whoever bought it had it special ordered for that or something? still... weird

i think vlsd was an option for the le, maybe, that or the person before you put it on, which is doubtful.

I thought there were no LEs in '95-96? Also aren't LEs just SEs with leather and auto? Someone should know this stuff

As long as the car had ABS the VLSD was an option as I recall. You most likely have a base model w/ optional sunroof, lsd, abs. The car will not have a rear sway as only the SE's had them.

One thing is clear... you don't have an SE.

LE's are not SE's w/ leather and auto... they are base models w/ leather and auto.

'95 240's had ABS and VLSD packaged together correct? And LE's came in 5-speeds as well.

hey everyone. i have a 95 SE from canada. my guages are in kmh. and i leave 2 stips of rubber. so im pretty sure i have vlsd. dont know about ABS though. how can i tell with the VIN #? and also i dont have the front lip spoiler/fog lights/white guages. but i DO have the rear spoiler and the SE badge.

I was lead to believe ABS and LSD both came together as one option, and that there were SE's produced with out ABS/LSD.

just trying to get a few things straight.
