I need to replace my main fuse and have removed the bolt closest to the engine. How do you remove the bolt on the opposite side?

If all you need to do is replace a fuse why are you takling apart the under hood fuse box?

I blew the FL100A messing around with the battery. In the picutre above I was frustrated and removed everything but the terminal lead from the fuse.

This is the side of the fuse I could get to.

I believe your going to have to separate the top of the fuse box from the bottom half.I have run into this a few times on different types of cars. It is aggravating to say the least!

well that's not what I wanted to hear but ok... Do you kow how to take it apart? That's my sticking point. I can't find anything else to take apart.

In this picture, I opened the plastic door but it didn't allow me more access to the screw.

Not sure if there is a tab release on the far left corner. Thats all I can find, what else am I not seeing.

I just pulled my car into the shop to take a look, my car is a 95 base and it does not have the 100 amp fuse.I have looked at Alldata for all the s14s and they have no repair procedures for this.My car has some small release tabs on the end of the row of fuses, and the whole row will pop out. Hope i have been of some help.I will check this thread in the morning.Good luck!

Well sorry there won't be much of an update tonight or tomorrow. I am done for the night. Tomorrow I'll give it another go. I called my buddy up and he logged in to Mitchell's on-demand. The info it told him was the same as your alldata. It did say the fuse box has multiple banks. It said the 100A, 75A, 45A are in the first bank. Then the 2nd bank is the rest. So like your 95, I am guessing my 96 has some clips I can release to get them out of the way to screw location. Thanks for all the help!

I actually jsut got done rewiring the box on my 95. The fuse banks do come out in sections but they are also connected to each other on the sides. If you look at the first picture you will see two small tabs in between the two smaller banks. one is right by the 10 amp red fuse. If you start closest to the passenger side of the car you should be able to remove them in rows and allow enough room to get in there and work.

How true. Thanks to everyone for the input. Couldn't have done it without it.

So here are the remaining pieces of the old fuse and the 5 dollar napa fuse.

Here is how I went in. I found the tabs on both sides of the blue coils. I also found the tabs in by the red 10a. That still didn't give me what I needed.
