One of my lug bolts (I'm thinking there's a better name for it, but hopefully you know what I mean) seems to have snapped in two, so that I can only put four lug nuts on my right front wheel.

I have a replacement but how do I get the old one out ? Just beat on it with a sledgehammer until it pops out the back ?

I would appreciate any insight, I have an autox on Sunday and I'm worried about it being an issue getting through tech inspection.

Thanks.

Depends on how the break is.

Pound it out with a hammer, I hope you are strong. You'll need a decent sized hammer.

I used an air hammer at the shop and couldn't get it out, had to torch the mofo then hammer it out.

Installation is just a matter of pounding the new bolt back in from behind.
