Well, if any one can help me find the lower harness diagram, iam mainly looking for the two clips that plug into the side of the fuse box from the s14 chassis. I took detailed pics of what iam looking for. Unlike the s13 sr or ka which have 3 plugs on the side of the fuse box, the s14 has 2 plugs one is black and the other is grey. Of my s14 front clip I had cut the other side of the plug so I had both sides of the clip, the clip is also part of the alternator and the starter which is also in twined with the transmission harness. I believe the plugs are for the speedo and or tach/reverse lights etc.. The motor will wired for going into my z32. If and any help for the search of the diagram that would be great. I also had bought the dvd with guy fom wiring specialties but it was no help, he only worked on the top harness. Thanks-Rickyps forgot to mention i have already tried looking at frsport.com and heavythrottle.com also the SR FAQs page

He needs a pinout for those plugs, and I've spent the past few days trying to dig one up...

Almost, but my harness has only two plugs on the end as shown in the picture i put up. The pdf file you have has 4 actually? Is that for the kouki(97-98). I have the zenki(95-96) motor/transmission. Thanks

Reverse lights - green, green/whiteSpeed sensor - red, red/yellowOil pressure light - yellow/blue?

If you gave a list of the other wire colors it would help. Also the JDM and USDM colors are actually the exact same for the most part. I have a complete S14 lower transmission harness at my other apartment, maybe I will take a look at it later.

I am also working on this same issue. I have searched the FSM to no Avail. I can trace the wires on the transmission plug to their locations, but I cannot trace the KA pins to match up and complete the splice.

The SR Plug has the following wires:1. Red/White2. Green/White3. Red/Yellow4. Black

5. Yellow6. Green7. Red8. Green Orange

5 6 7 81 2 3 4

KA plug

1. Empty2. White3. Light Green4. Blue

5. Yellow6. Pink7. Peach?8. Black

These are the plugs from a Auto KA and that's the problem with this swap

maybe splice the green with white strip into the light green and the black into black?

that seems to be what i have gathered...but i am a little afraid to try it.....

here is something i found....this is for the s14:

"The top connector with two female blade connections needs to be jumpered for the car to start. The third connector down from the top uses pins 3 & 8 for the backup lights. Switch pins 3&8 using the wiring from the backup light switch on the transmission."

i think you will have to get under the car and see what color wires are coming out of the rear reverse light switch on the transmission(the one closest to the front of the car). if you take a look please please let me know which two it is... i think it is supposed to be green with white stripe and black, but i am not certain.

(my car is super low and i dont have access to a lift or jack/stands right now.)

This made me scratch my head and get out my notes from when I did my wiring a month ago when my speedometer wasn't working after the RB swap.

Turned out that I didn't have a harness for it haha.

from what I know Kermitman said:

The SR Plug has the following wires:1. Red/White this was a speedo wire2. Green/White3. Red/Yellow this was a speedo wire4. Black

5. Yellow6. Green7. Red8. Green Orange

I still haven't figured out reverse lights yet...I'll keep looking if you haven't solved this - i know this topic is kinda old.
