S14 Kouki HID install (flame suit)

How do you do, fellow nico members?

I'm in the process of installing an HID kit in my kouki. I've run into a slight problem though. Inside the housing there are 2 wires, a red which the original h1 bulb connects to and a black one which is located inside the housing (which I can't seem to take off). What am i supposed to do with these? Move them to the side? Cut 'em off? lol

Also, on the ballast it's self there are 2 wires which I can't find a place to connect to. It supposed to go into the factory connectors, but I can't seem to securely get them in to the socket.

It will come off it may need to be persuaded. What color temperature?

Sounds like you know where it goes and you said it fits loosely... SO just hardwire them in and leave enough room on the headlight socket so in an emergency you can quickly re connect the socket.
