I got my vert, a possiblity to get all the parts for the conversion cheap but how much work am i looking at? Im thinking it would be close to an s15 conversion (hood, fenders, bumper and maybe the rad support) but i was wondering if anyone knows what it takes to put this front end on an s13?

Big job.

IMO, the S15 front will look better. S14 and S13 lines won't match up well at all.

i think s13 front ends look nice on convertibles but any 180sx kouki aero looks nice on convertibles too. i remember seeing a gold one on a video it looked sweet.

i think headlights and tail lights of s13-15s reflect the body lines. like s13s have straight rectangle head/taillights with a straight boxy body. s14s have more rounder head/tail lights with a rounder body. and s15 looks more crazy with the fenders head lights and wild tail lights. what i think might work though if its done correctly would be r32 on 13s more boxy and 33s on 14s more round.

not too big a fan of conversions because of that unless theres sick work to the body but im guessing around ~2grand-3grand for a s15 conversion. depending on what parts are being used new/used oem/aftermarket/cheap aftermarket (raceonusa style stuff). the more expensive parts would be the head lights and conversion fenders being about 650$ each.

If your talking about the orange one that had the kouiki tails.. i love it. To each his own though and unless this job would be under the 2k mark with painting ($750 for all parts) i dont want to do it.

kouki front is the hotness....but I've never seen it on a vert, I think Greg may be onto something Anyway, why not just go with the JDM s13 front?

Because i bought the vert to be different, i have seen quite a few verts with s13 silvia fronts and s13's period with the sivlia fronts so i wanted to go a different route. Plus i love the way the kouki s14 front looks. But oh well, ill probly just keep the flips and get some projectors to keep them sleepy all the time.

Personally, the S14 front is way too boxy for an S13. S15 seems to flow well with the S13, although I think you should leave it the way it is :-)

The S14 front on an S13 COUPE/VERT would be perfect because it IS boxy! If you're talking about that black photoshopped job awhile back, it looked awkward because of the angles not matching (from the photoshop job). If you've seen the actual thing done, it's not too bad on the coupe.

Well im going to keep the flip ups and just get a subtle kit and some widebody rear fenders and get the thing painted. If anyone could get some matching angled pics of the two i could photoshop it to see what it would look like but ill only try with 2 pics of the same angle.
