S14 keeps overheat

I was driving the other day and notice my car was getting hot so I pulled over and noticed it was leaking coolant. So I looked around and saw that it was leaking from a hose under the throttle body. I pulled the hose off not thinking the car was still hot and it spewed everywhere, after it all spilled out I clamped the hose down tighter and it stopped leaking, and then I put more coolant in. Now the damn car won't stop overheating what the hell is wrong with it.

did you bleed the air out of the system?

there is an air bleed on the thermostat housing. open it and pour coolant into the radiator and when coolant comes out of the thermostat housing close it and top off coolant
