s14 ka24de into s13

I want to confirm which exhaust manifold to use.

-motor + transmission is s14-ecu and wiring harness ka24de 91-93 s13-chassis is 89

I've read somewhere "use the exhaust mani for the car you are swapping to." I would expect to use the 91-93 exhaust manifold opposed to the 89-90.
