I have a 91 240sx, and i'm looking for a new KA. Well i found aone for 400 bux, with 46,000 miles. Only proboblem is that it's from an auto 96 240sx. I know that since mine is a 5spd i'll need to swap the pilot bushing. But since this is a s14 engine then will it go in just as easy, or will i have to do any other things. The engine doesn't have a distributor so can i use the one from my 91 KA. I also heard that the 91's have better cams. Can i swap in the cams from mine, or do i have to use the s14 ones? Is there anything else i have to worry about since its from the s14 or will everything go in good? Also will i need the 96's ecu? or can i use mine?

Thnx in advance

to swap it you will need to use your S13 distributor. I suggest you swap the entire intake manifold and all sensors on it from the S13 engine to the new S14 engine.

swap your cams over or you will have a loss of power. also swap the intake manifold from your car. there is a plug behind the head of the s13. there is no where to bolt it onto the s14 head so let it dangly or try to zip tie is somwhere. also the exhuast manifold from the s13 will have to be swapped. power steering pump im pretty sure is exactly the same. transmission will bolt up just fine
