s14 ka transmission?

hey, i did a search but couldn't find anything specific to my question. i have an s13 sr20 in my hatch but my main shaft bearing in the transmission is bad. my question is, will a s14 ka transmission work with an s13 sr20 engine? will the bell housing from the s13 sr transmission bolt up to the s14 ka transmission? has anyone done this before? thanks for the help.

well thanks for searching but what i was looking for was if the s14 ka transmission worked with the s13 sr20. i know the s13 ka transmission work but im not sure if theyre the same. does anyonw know if they are? thanks

It won't bolt up correctly. You can make it fit if you do some frankenstein $hiet, but I wouldn't advise that.

has someone actually done this? i know for the s13 ka to s13 sr, all you haveto do is switch the bell housing. can someone tell me if the s13 and s14 transmission are the same. do you have a reason for saying you dont advise it or are you just saying that because you think it might be hard? if some one has info let me know because i really need a transmission. thanks
