03 cobra - full bolt ons, ported blower @17psi, pulley, aftercooler, heat exchanger, chipped, drag radials...etc Pushing atleast 550whp

S14 KA-T - Full-Race twinscroll GT35r @ 20psi, Kelford 272's, OLD Enthalpy tune, street tires...etc

http://s31.photobucket.com/alb...t.flv

40-135mph (closed course behind some old hotels)I spun 2nd hard and that's why he got the jump on meI was pulling slightly but ran out of room/gear. 5th gear sucks.Trying to get ahold of Enthalpy so he can send me a retune but no luck...Retune + 24psi would be no problem beating the Cobra at all

*PS* it's my buddy talking about fading his brakes, not me.

Nice run. Those Cobras are crazy fast in stock form. ANyways, I don't see how it's on a closed course, but hey, everyone's gotta have fun sometimes.

I get full boost at 4K rpm. We were pretty much rolling at 40mph in 2nd gear which is 4k rpm for me.

It is a closed course because we had cars blocking exits and entrances.

Nice run, with tires you would've spanked him for sure.

What are you revving to and how's it holding boost up top? Just seeing really how well the .78ar is doing for ya.

I only took it to 7k rpm each gear.

Boost holds fine, it was a little cold out so it creeped like 1.5psi or so.

I couldn't run anymore than 20psi because my spark would blow out. My gap is currently at .028, i'll gap it to .022 next time with my radials on and crank it up to 24psi and have some fun!

Sweet, I was a bit doubtful about that ar because I know sizes 1.00+ with ts t4's are the ideal size, so I though .78 t3 would be way too small,

however it seems to be working great for you, so that's awesome

what are the disadvantages to running a smaller spark plug gap?

you dont get a bigger area of spark which equals not as much initiation for the fire. for his car hes fine. hes not making super dooper power, but if youre having to gap that low then its about time for a ignition upgrade such doing the external coil mod. then you could run a high ouput coil, and that would solve sunnys issue right up. full out race cars with standalone ecus usually run some sort of distributorless ignition system, with a high performance coil for each cylinder.
