im planning on picking up an s14 shell with the ecu and wiring harness for a good deal. My question is im running a 98 motor in my s13 with the obvious s13 distributor that does not have the internal coil. My question is can i take that extra 3 wire plug that would go into the s14 coil, cut it, extend the wires and run a msd blaster coil, with an s13 coil. Just an an ignition upgrade, cause i already have it. The only reason i would be upgrading it is cause i am goin ka-t over the winter and i wasnt planning on doing this with an obd2 system.

EDIT forget the tuning question

The internal S14 coil is better then the MSD Blaster No need to mod anything.
