ANY HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WOULD BE GREAT

i know greaazy has a thread jsut like this right now but i didnt want to jack his thread casue his issues may be different thatn mine... heres how it goes...

swapped the IM and he EM and the distributor and i also swapped the s13 alternator too casue i noticed the s14 one didnt have a plug in on it...... but any way i get it all done the motor in the car and i thougght i did a good job marking everrything in the car but i guess not.... heres the pics....

where does this go? my thumb is touching the wire it follows....

wheres this go?

that big black/yellow wire goes to the intake mani right up there doesnt it? i put it on the alternator cause i thought i rememberred it being there but i looked at my freinds s3 and it was there on the intake.... Could this be why i blew that 75A ALT fuse?

also my EGI PUMP relay is buzzing when i turned the ignition on the car... also the plug wires arent getting spark and neitherr is the coil (from where the dist wire meets the coil)..... and to top it off nothing on my dash lights up .... but i could honestly care less about that i jsut need this thing running in the next 3 days so any help would be greatly appreciated....

whats the easiest way to find tdc and do the timing?

the wire on pic #2 is a ground that goes to the chassis(you should be able to see where it goes, somewhere in that area of the firewall), last pic, that big wire goes to a bolt on the intake manifold, that hole right up of the filter, next to the throttle body in pic #3(the hole that looks blurry), there goes a bolt + the big black/yellow cable, it is the ground wire for the engine>battery, not sure on the first pic though.

just incase you dont believe this guy, which you should

pic 2 wire is a ground adn it just attaches to a little nubbin sticking out of the fire wall right around that area. it should be easy to find, it can only be in the range of the wire...

youve hooked up the wrong alt cable, a big ground goes there, but not that one. you definately blew that fuse because you ran 12 volts to the alt case. that big ground goes to the hole he is talking about. its right there, you can see it in the pic

i've never seen that first ground in an engine swaps or repairs, i dont know how you found it either. maybe it had something to do with the pair valve you removed? either way just ground it to some bare metal (no paint)

just like he already told you, i dont even know why i said anything...

Dude you crazy. - and + dont like to be hooked up together. The thick black cable hooks up to your intake manifold runner in the front. I just finished this swap and put s13 cams with s14 intake runs stong as He!!. I even removed my egr and pair valve bs. I just have to break in my clutch than the real testing will begin.
