s14 ka mpg question?

like the title says, i would like to know what kind of mpg's are you guys getting with a stock KA.... cause i have a bone stock 97 kouki, the car runs and drives great but im barely getting 17/18 mpg

The average is around 18-24 mixed. 30+ is obtainable though. I wouldn't expect more than 25 in town, and that's with a well maintained... well everything, not to mention driving like a grandma.

I just went to and from Charlotte from Atlanta on a single tank. I filled up with 14 gallons before I left and filled up with 15.5 when I got back in. I think the tank is 17 gallons? Thats with me driving around Charlotte for an evening and jumping straight on the highway. I was over 500 miles when I filled up...so I'm getting about 32-35ish.

this is on a 97 KA 5 speed. Stock wheels, carbon fiber hood, and a body kit (should be a little lighter than stock)

Even on my s13s with stock bodies I was getting 30's. I recommend a good synthetic oil change and run something like zmax fuel and engine crap..that stuff works very nice. Check your tire pressure, and alignmentBut my S14 is at home on the highway.

I get 25-28 averaged over a whole tank of gas in a stock S14. Shouldn't use much more if your tune is good.
