ok so my buddy is in the midst of swapping a 95 ka into his 91 s13. this isnt our first ka swap but it is our first time swapping an s14 ka into an s13, and we just wanted to make sure we have everything right...

we will still be using the s13 ecu and s13 harness, so we know we need to use the s13 intake mani/fuel rail, s13 distributor, and s13 maf. we are aware that we need to use the s13 exhaust manifold too. and he's using the s13 transmission as well.

here's my question...the old s13 ka had emissions removed and this new s14 ka doesnt. so i'm asking, since we are using an s13 intake mani should we be ok? or is there something else we need to do?

i did the same swap but i used a s14 manual transmission in an s13 auto car.

i blocked off the egr. and i deleted the charcoal canister and the nest of vacuum lines the secondary butterflies in the intake and my car runs great

yeah you will be okay thats bout it if you use the intake from the s13 then it is jus turning the s14 in to a ka block that the intake makes it compatibe hope that makes since
