S14 KA in an S13

i found a 95 240sx in a local junkyard and i'm going to take a look at it right after i post this, i know there's some sort of difference in the wiring and wanted to know who else has done this and where they got all the harnesses for the car....thanks in advance

i think id rather do a s13 ka.. it's got a higher redline and more aggressive cams right?

The 95+ should be OBDII.. it's got alot of sensors and crap, you'll need the S14 ecu and all that junk i'd assume... S13 KA would be easier

you know, the two engines are not that hard to swap over. I dont think that link applies because he said he's got a SE which = dohc.

yes the s13's have a more agressive cam set, but that camset can make much more power on a s14 ka (duh) and raise that redline too. that question has been asked a MILLION times.

edit: oh and the early 95's are not OBDll. check the production date.

SE does not = dohc.

91+=dohc.

im pretty sure is only 91s with the better cams, thats the tears S14 guys always talk about getting. its just like what nissan did with the SOHC, released it, then made the motor weaker 3 months later. the made the 91 with better cams, then backed off after that.

S14 kas can be swaped in with the use of just the block and head the rest must be swaped over to the s13 stuff I.E.intake manfold and swap the cams over why you have everything apart

Also all S13 cams are the 240/248 setup not just the 91s

Think i am just goin to make a big post in the KA na form to be a stick cuz this has been beat to death in the last 3 weeks it seems like

But then again, without KA vs. SR discussions, cam discusions, and OMFG WHAT EXAHSUT SHOLUD I GET!!!????? discussion, we wouldn't have 240Gen.

dont leave out i am new and getting a 240 with a sr20det cuz Super street said i can be JDM Yooo

I like all motors and just dislike al the kids in here that come here and tell us how thay are swapin to sr20 cuz all other motors suck
