Anyone have any knowledge of doing an S13 to S14 jdm caliper and rotor swap, I know the 1996-1999 jdm S14 Silvia K's had iron 4 pot calipers but am not sure about the width and diameter of the rotor.

right on, that means I can use the rotor from a 1990 N/A z32.

Also would I have any trouble sourcing brake pads for the calipers?

Not to nit-pick, but which is it? I suppose I could go get a ruler and measure mine, but I'd really rather not. If it's 26mm, wouldn't it have the aluminum caliper? (I'm quite certain my calipers are aluminum)

I think I'm going to buy new rotors for my S14 K's brakes, but I'd like a difinitive answer. (again, I'm too lazy to measure with a ruler, and my micrometer is in inches.)

Yes, CaptainHenreh I see where the discrepancy lies, so which is it 26mm 0r 30mm? The S14 caliper itself looks to be iron, I base this on it's lack of cooling fins and the fact that the S14 K's were produced in the late 1990's when it seemed that most if not all of Nissan 4-pot calipers were iron. Again, correct me if I'm wrong because I'm simply drawing inferences.

They're iron. Magnets don't stick to Aluminum.

I'll measure when I get home. I suppose it's possible there was a model year change, but I doubt it. I imagine they are 30mm.

and they definately make rim selection a biach (Having that trouble to this day) so far Z32 rims work on both 26mm and 30mm. S14 SE rims work on only 26mm Z32 brakes and !!we need a sticky on what works, (fitament wise) for Z32 brakes because I just wasted $1000 on rims that dont fit that I thought would

Just to clarify:

S14SE wheels will not clear 30MM Z-Brakes? You can confirm this?

How well does a Z32 wheel fit on the car? Does it stick out the fender/rub suspension bits?

the S14 SE rims only fit on the 26mm brakes you would need offset spacers for them to clear on 30mm IIRC <7mm which is kinda bad. still doable some people use a 10mm spacer its just a growing risk thats all.

I think after 1993 or so they made the 30mm calipers in iron because the aluminium ones warped

so stock S14 SE wheels clear only 26mm? crap :(

The day before yesterday I saw a 95 S14 with SE wheels and 30mm Z brakes.

It was close, but it cleared.
