s14 jdm kouki rear bumper fitment issues

so i bought a jdm kouki rear bumper, and the holes across the top of the bumper don't match up to the panel on the body, just wondering if this is common! guess ill have to drill new holes?? as well not all of the clip tabs on the lower portion of the bumper support line up to the bottom tabs of the bumper! lmk thanks

i'm pretty sure that hundreds of people have done kouki conversions and not a single person can comment on this? just looking for some help??????

is the rear bumper an original nissan part or is it an after market.

sometimes after market stuff wont fit or is slightly different that oem because they cant make the part exactly the same as oem nissan.

i think its called copy right infringement or some thing like that.

its illegal for another company to duplicate to speck oem.

for example some oem bumpers may say the company name on it but the after market ones wont say anything.

no it's not a fake it came in a nissan box and has nissan part #'s and stickers! definitely not fake got it at west covina nissan in california!

you are correct!I got mine straight from the dealership, and yes some of the holes wont line up. just drill and tap..

sweet thanks man what did you tap? because on the usdm bumper there were just clips across the top and the bottom as well. j/w cause the only thing that is threaded are the studs on the steel bumper braces on the inside ends of the bumper? thanks for the input it's good to know that i wasn't the only one!
