where's the best place to put the jack stands on my 240sx?

There are two small notches at the bottom of the car, both front and rear. That is the factory jack up point.

Those are the little jackpoints for those horrid scissor jacks but he asked about where to place jackstands, which is on the framerails, no?

alright thanx, i need to get my 240 off all 4 tires because some jackass slashed my 2 tires on the passenger side so i'm gonna get new rubber for all 4... also the car is parked for winter now so i don't want to drive it or get it towed to the shop

On my S13 I use the frame rails (if you can use that term on a unibody car) and put the stands just behind the little oval holes in the rails.

If you want to be extra super carefull put a small piece of wood between the jackstand and the vehicle and carefully watch to make sure the rail doesn't deform when you let the weight of the car rest fully on the stands.

Just make sure the stands are on an even surface and if you use a small piece of wood, make sure it seats properly on the stand. You don't want to have any kind of wobble...would suck to be under the car if it slipped off of a stand. I also try to leave my jack under the car too, unless it's in the way of whatever I'm trying to do.
