s14 interior light problem

I was wondering if the s14 has the tcu like the s13 and if so where is it located? also where is the dimmer switch located as my dome light will not come on. all the fuses are good and i think it might have something to do with the stereo install but it was working before i installed the cd player. but the owner before me had the whole wiring system redone so i think they might have cut the interior light wire. thanks for the help

It probably has something to do with the stereo install. If you screw it up, lights don't work and various other problems arise. It happened with me, took me a while to realize that the radio was causing it. Make sure it is grounded and everything really well and that the fuse in the bakc of the radio is okay.

Remember, a multimeter is your friend.
