Hi I have a 1995 240SX and the engine runs fine. I also have a 1989 240SX and I am planning to swap the 95 DOHC KA into my 89 240sx. So I here are my questions, since the engine on the 95 240sx runs fine, my intentions for that engine is to make it turbo before I swap it into my 1989 240sx. Therefore, I was wondering what would I need to replace in the 95 240SX engine to resist high boost for the future?.... would it be ok if I just turbo the 95 KA with its stock pistons and rings? would altering the internals mess the smog tests? what do you guys think? Ill post pictures soon. Im planning to get a greddy turbo 9 to 15 psi....

Im planning to purchase this 50 state legal greddy turbo kit. my 240sx is all street legal. I just do it because I love seeing cops faces when they have nothing on you and they cant really get anything on I just laugh on their face hehehehe jk... but anyways Im going to get this turbo kit soon so thats why i was asking on what should I do while the engine is out of the vehicle and before i swap it my car?

9-15 psi with a 20g, I think I can safely say your going to have to do some decently $$ engine work for a reliable ka, Thats a non intercooled kit too, do some research before you go spending all your money, because it will happen. /thread
