Ok as some of you saw i was having trouble with my s14 SR into an S13 when i came to the hot side of the intercooler. Heres what i did and it works awesome!!!
Ok here it goes. On the s14 intercooler hot pipe, cut 5 3/4' to 6' off of the straight part keeping about 2' away from the bend closest to the intercooler to leave room for the coupler. Attach the pipe to the intercooler and the other side rotate 90* headed up to the hole in the body. The angle between the pipes will be off a by about 1/4'. This is ok if using a coupler. If welding, you will want to cut (the original pipe) only 5 3/4' off and either belt sand the end of the pipe to fit or cut it again on an angle only taking 1/4' off max on the end. You will see where the cut needs to be made once you get the pipes up there. Next you take your s13 hot pipe, and on the 90* bend thats supposed to line up with the turbo outlet, cut right in the middle making the resultant angle of the pipe end 45* matching up with the 45* angle on the s14 SR turbo outlet. When peiceing together with the silicone hoses, you will need to cut the one 1 1/2' coupler connecting the hot pipe and turbo outlet in half through the cross section (if its 4' long, make it 2') since they have to be right up against each other for everything to line up. Thats it!!! I used home depot couplers for now just to show the final product but you do not want to run thoes on your car especially on the hot side. Hopefully this i easy to follow. Enjoy.
