S14 Horn Problems

I own a 96 S14 and am having problems with the horn, it appears that every time I accelerate slightly while turning left the horn sounds suddenly for a few seconds. I have disconnected it for the time being but was just wondering if anyone knew what i could do to fix it, as i need a working horn to pass its next wof

Check the wiring, sounds like there might be a short somewhere.
