S14 Hicas?
S14 Hicas?
Did the S14 come equipped w/ hicas in any market? I tried to search this question, although the NICO search function was down. The reason I ask is because I just won a CUSCO hicas eliminator kit on ebay. The seller said it was for an S14 and w/ OEM S14 rear tie rod ends it would bolt up to my S13. The seller recommended pdm-racing.com because they were out of Canada and supposedly Canadian S14 had hicas. No such luck, when I contacted the gentleman from PDM racing he informed me that the only 240 equipped W/ HICAS was the S13. Therefore, I'm thinking maybe the kit is for a Z32. On the other hand to throw another barb into my quest I found that Option imports carry the exact kit I have and they state it is for a S14 aswell. Now I'm officially confused, if anyone can provide any insight into my perdicament I would be grateful.
Well if there are not many people know about them. The kit definately does not fit my rear tie rods and upon further inspection of the box, I found that the tag on the side had S14 and R33 printed on it. The rest is in japanese. Hopefully Skyline tie rod ends are able to bolt on to my rear spindle, because it seems more likely that I will locate them before I locate S14 rear tie rod ends.
