i have a 95 s14 and I'm doing a KA-T. i just picked up my spare block out of a 93. my question is can i use my s14 head on the s13 block. i want to use all the stuff that is on my car right now with the block I'm building. i can see some things are different like the head, VC and dizzy just to name a few. everything that i see different is either on/in the head or it attaches to the head. i searched and all i found was s13 block with s14 head in s13. i figure this is the same thing and would work. if any one knows please let me know

thanks in advance

Bump.... May come up on a really cheap S13 bottom end and was wondering the same. Only thing i know thats diff about the motors are the intake manifold and such. Everything mounting to the head. But are the bottom ends any different?

Can't say you didn't search As far as i know, the blocks are the same for the S13/S14 KADE's. But i do believe the truck KADE's have a different bottom end, main caps not a bridge. I am sure someone can shine some more light on all the different KADE blocks. I'm gonna see what i can dig up myself.

The center sprocket bolts are different. DO NOT USE the S13 bolt in an S14 head!! Strippadeedoodaa will ensue! the s14 bolt is about 3/4 in longer than s13 bolt. I just stripped my s14 head. luckily the right s14 bolt went right in ( no helicoil) and held 60ft-lbs. Other than valve cover everything bolts right up.
