Like the title says, my block is warped and possibly cracked, I have access to an s13 block is it possible to put them together, or is there any disadvantages? thanks.

Thats a good question. I know a s13 head can go onto a s14 block. The only issue I think is that there is an extra oil passage on the s14 that isn't on the s13. It isn't an issue when doing the opposite of what your doing because the passage gets plugged basically by there not being a need for it on the s13, but I do not know about vice versa ( having the passage and not getting any oil to it). Hopefully someone else on here can give you a better answer

my buddy owns and operates RMJ MOTORSPORTS in moorpark, ca. the shops track car has and s13 sr block with an s14 head. and the thing haulls balls! ive been told it has mad torque and likes to "scoot" along right up to boost, then it screams! so yeah i think it is possible to have an s14 head on an s13 sr block.

I would take the head to where ever that block is and check the alignment on everything to be sure. You dont want to get stuck with an unusable block. But I never heard of anybody crossing heads except between the S14 and s15 and then the s13 red and s13 black
