There is a reason Nissan produced some sil80s and no s14 hatches. It's called demand. If it was as hot as you want it to be, they'd think about it. Although the orange pics do look nice, IMO it's the rear lights that make the hatch stand out from the other cars similar to it, be it the regulars or type-Xs. Changing the front of the 180 doesn't deprive the hatch of it's uniqueness, but changing the front AND back...? Why just not get an s14, it looks nice with its hood/trunk lines parallel to the ground, mean looking front and beefy rear.

I.e. I stick to my previous statement. Sil80 (silvia s13/s14/s15 combo of front lights/hood/fenders on 180sx) = good. s14 hatch = ...well u know.

IMO, the fixed lights on the hatch are reminiscent of a station wagon... the 97-98 front end looks pretty neat though...

ok ok opinions duly respected, but im doin this just for fun cuz i think it'd be a cool thing to see. yeah i stole this off that other thread, thought it'd be a good pic to modify...

They should have built it. Hatchbacks rule, they always have. None of my personal cars have had trunks. (The Sentra is the wife's). Give me a hatch anyday. It's the sportiest body style while at the same time being the most practical.

I like the looks of the S14 as it is, but I REALLY miss the space of my S13 Hatch
