I've searched and couldn't really find anything about it. So my question is.

Will the stock S14 Gauge cluster work with the RB25DET or do you HAVE to swap in a R33 gauge cluster?

Again, I searched, so if I missed it, than flame on.

be more specific... why wouldn't the s14 cluster work with the swap... The signals the cluster gets from the motor is the water temp, tach, speed, cel light, and oil light. Assuming you wired everything up correctly they should function. The only question that remains is will they function correctly. This you can search up and find all the answers you need

So if I get a speedometer and tach from ls automotive, it should work fine with the RB correct? No problems? And when they say send in your core to be modified, what exactly are they referring to?

Also, what is the link for dakotadigital.com referring to?

that means you have to send tach from the gauge cluster to them to modify. they will likely put on a resistor to fix the offset tach signal. $100 for this is surely one expensive resistor.

i wonder if the z32 tach will work correclty.

My speedo was perfectly accurate with my RB25 and S14 cluster. It depends on your rearend gear.

I run a dakotadigital tach signal modifier ($75)

All other gauges work just fine as well.

well, rumor has it the speedo will be fine for an S14. as far as LS auto. you send in your entire cluster, they recalibrate your tach. i had it done. downtime wasnt too bad. i have yet to confirm that the speedo will be correct though. as you can see, they have the actual faces for the S13. the 180mph speedo is nice too.

i have no experience with anything from dakota digital, but i remembered the website when i was going through this.

Jeez guys i know this has been posted before... must search for the right post. spend $100 to have ls modify your tach OR spend 10min and adjust your tach yourself. S14's have enough adjustability using the pot on the rear to adjust to 6 cyl...
