s14 fuel sending unit question

ok i just burned up a fuel pump drifting this weekend and i swaped it out... anyways there was this hot dog bun looking thing haning out in the tank and im guessing thats my fuel sending unit !??? yeah my gas gague has been wack soo im deff guessing thats the cause!! if soo where does it mount?? if been searching in the tank and can not feel anything just the metal bracket where th fuel pump goes!!

say you where in an s14 with the back seat folded down and you reached into the tank... what way would you move your hand to feel the mount for it?

the fuel level sender unit is in the hole where your pump unit is and a few inches straight forward( towards the front of the car) and a bit to the right ( pass side)
