S14 front strut tower bar hood clearance. . .

Alright, well the other day I purchased this DC sports front strut tower bar for my S14. . . And after installing it I've realized the clearance to the hood sucks nuts. . . From the pictures below you can clearly see the hood is popping out far too much.

P.S. The driver's side of the hood has always protruded a bit, but now it's just out of hand.

try taking it off and putting it back on with car jacked up from the center. iv read its better to install it that way and it may sit lower?

do you know what part of it is hitting the hood?

Alright thanks for the advice, I wonder if that would really do anything? By the way, the hood is touching the center part that connects to the shock towers (where it has the DC sports logo).

1) if its hitting the hood bracing thats part of the hood then you can just go at it with a dremel . may look jenky but anythings only worth what your giving up for it..

2)throw some small washers under the fender bolts that connect to the frame to line everything back up?

3) go super drift status and vent your hood so it doesnt touch (but looks horrible)
