S14 front spindle knuckle question

So I'm doing 5 lug conversion on my 96 s14 and i have run into an issue was wondering if anybody has come to this problem before. Pllease help.
so to start off this is my old hub. you can see how i pointed out the lip.

the 2nd one is how that lip sits on my knuckle.

the 3rd is my new hub. i ordered from contano hubs which from what i have heard is a very decent company. As you can see there is no lip like the old one.



has anybody seen this before. Im about 80% sure i cannot press the bearing in anymore. I have seen two different brand new OEM hubs and some are like my new one and some are like the old hub. Please help.

From what I can tell you part is correct. Maybe it will seat when the wheel is mounted and you have driven it for a while.

If I remember correctly, there are actually two different styles of front 5-lug hubs for the S14. I believe I read about it in Sport Compact Car many moons ago. As for if either can work for any S14, I do not know. Would be good to know though. Hopefully someone who has run into this before can chime in soon!
