Ok so im getting ready to do a 5 lug swap on my s13 in a few days.

Im also using s14 front lca's. I am aware they are longer than s13 front lca's. sooo my question is... do i need s14 tie rods?

searched but didnt quite get a straight forward answer. Thanks in advance.

I have the S14 5-lug conversion on my S13 and can tell you some tips.

The S14 LCAs are longer and will definitely change the suspension geometry. You should just keep your S13 LCAs and simply press in S14 ball joints. MOOG sells S14 ball joints for a good price if the ones you have on your S14 LCAs are shot. Doing this also prevents you from swapping out tie rods, etc. Keep the S13 LCAs and retain the original suspension geometry.

Another option is to simply buy S13 5-lug front hubs, but that is a more expensive option.

This is what i wa afraid of. im gonna use the s14 lca's since the ball joints are brand bew and pressed in already.

with this being said, s14 tie rods are definately necessary if using the s14 lca's? also im guessing am alignment will be necessary?
