s14 front end on a vert

a buddy of mine is willing to hook me up with his s14 front end since he is doing the silvia conv. but i juat wanted to know if the s14 front end will fit the vert and how hard will it be to do? and i tried searching this but all i found was the reverse of what im trying to do...s13 front end on s14.

110octane did an S14 front end conversion on his vert. Shoot him an e-mail and maybe he'll help you out.

I asked him before and it was cut and weld on stock fenders. I think that's better than s14 conversion fenders out there. Those are oversized. You will still want rear over fenders since s14 front looks wide.

And the s14 front end, take it! You can use everything except the fenders - unless you merge your s13 fenders w/ the s14 one.

Most of the cost goes into the other parts (well, depending on how much you pay for the fenders & fitting them, if you don't do that yourself).

cool i'll tell him i'll take them but how much should i pay for them. he doesn't know how much he should sell them for and i dont know how much a s14 front end is worth?? and the fenders will fit with some minor or major fitment modifications? as far as painting them, his car is the same color as mine so no repainting will be required! thanks again for all the help guys!!!

you should not get used to the spoon feeding...

do your own research, all the answers in this thread are found easily from searching - if not on forums, then on google/ebay/etc.

it's like fitting a body kit, but much more work. i.e. one of those, "if you have to ask..."

I'll be nice and give you a ball park. I've seen s14 front ends go for everything from $600 (not great condition) -> $1000 (mint).

The headlights alone are worth $300 or so.

um... ..sorry about that i guess. thanks for being nice and spoon feeding me the info i am at work and its kinda hard to do research here. i cant do it at home cause my computer is on the fritz so i figured i would ask here. but your right i should have researched before i asked or even looked into switching front ends. my bad

ok so im going to try to work out a payment plan with him since i don't want to lowball him. he offered the front end when he saw my car's damage from the accident on friday. so i thought that was cool. i'll keep you guys posted on the process maybe do a how-to- post
