Hi everyone, I know I rarely post at all on the site, but I hope I can count on a few of you to help me out.

I'm changing the brakes on my 96 S14 for the first time since I purchased it last year, and I broke a sliding-pin bolt on the front caliper bracket.

I found the slider rusted completely to the bracket, with the bolt broke inside of it.

I've tried to search for part numbers on Courtesy Parts, but cannot find anything for that caliper bracket. Should I maybe try to torch it out, scavenge a junkyard for 'new' parts, or bend over and go to the local dealer? any help is appreciated, thanks.

You can torch those out relatively well, just go to the dealer to source a new pin.

Or you can get loaded remanufactured calipers as one assy and return the old stuff as core. Or pay care fee. Seriously I was able to get a part number and a new pin, same day, from the local Schucks.

Good luck.
