So I read this a long time ago, but I read it this morning again, a guy claiming his rim offsets were essentially -10 more than what he had because of s14 FLCAs.

He said exactly "17x9 +15 (effective offset +5 with S14 FLCA)Hankook RS2 235/40-17" Even though I know with a +15 you can even fit 245 and I think someone did 255s, in fact someone fit 245s with +20 offset.

Here's his thread: http://www.northwestnissans.co...59456

So what's up?

What the guy said is essentially correct if taken in the right context.

It will increase track by 10mm on each side, which means that if you run the same amount of camber before and after installing the s14 FLCAs then you will have the same wheel fitment as a car with a 10mm lower offset and stock FLCAS. As far as actual wheel clearance is concerned, it will not be affected.

So it does not directly change the offset, but it will make the wheels fit the body of the car as if they were a lower offset.

Sure you can, you just have to move the upper pillowball 10mm outwards.
