vents.....aero is important for certian things...like cooling your brakes...cooling you oil...creating down force..ect...those little vents on the side of the fenders do have a reason for being there..they promote brake cooling..and allso let trapped air in the wheelwell's escape increasing your aerodynamic efficency..dosent matter if you race and see the overall benifits of this ..or if you just DD your ride..its an actuall function with proven benifits...as for thour going wider later on..you might aswell get them now and install them before the new paint..so you wont have to paint match later on....just my humble opinion...good luckDrift-wood wrote:So,
I am starting to buy parts for my Zenki to Kouki fenders have been an issue of course.
I started looking at all the directions I could go and I want OEM metal Fenders but would buying fiberglass over sized fenders be the better option?
I am going to be running a wide wheel later on and was curious if just buying the over sized fenders would elevate any problems down the road
when it comes to getting my wheel fitment.
I haven't picked out a wheel or size yet as I'm focusing on the body work and getting it repainted first. I do know I will be wider than 9".
I just didn't know if having wider fender would help at all or if I can get a OEM fender just roll with that.
If I was to buy fiberglass fenders I'll probably re-work it so that it looks oem to get rid of the little vents they like to put in them.
